How It Works:
The script fetches historical and current price data using the request.security function. It then uses these data points to draw lines on the chart representing significant price levels. These lines are drawn into the future to help traders visualize where these levels will be in upcoming bars. Labels are added to these lines for easy identification.
How to Use:
Configure Inputs:
Enable or disable the display of daily, weekly, monthly, and previous period levels using the input options.
Customize colors for different levels to match your charting preferences.

VP demo(Rolling period)Introduction
In the native VP (Volume Profile), the commonly referenced parameters are POC (Point of Control), VAH (Value Area High), and VAL (Value Area Low). However, since VAH and VAL are calculated by extending outward from the POC, their values heavily depend on the shape of the VP and the parameter settings of the value area ratio. This means their significance in identifying support and resistance in the market is limited. Based on VP, my algorithm is designed with two additional methods to identify low-volume points within a rolling time period, using them as reference points for support and resistance.
Current Algorithm Issues
When the candles update, you might notice overlapping support and resistance lines on the chart, or multiple lines appearing near the same location. This is due to TradingView's rendering issue, where old support and resistance lines that have been deleted in the code are not promptly removed from the chart. You only need to refer to the support and resistance lines that extend to the latest candle. If some lines remain at previous candles, it indicates that these points are outdated. As new candles continue to form, these lagging support and resistance lines will automatically disappear once the number of new candles reaches a certain threshold. Additionally, during significant market movements, you may see a large number of red lines. This is because the algorithm does not yet fully recognize abnormal market conditions. Future versions will gradually improve this aspect.
BST system LiteBST system is Entry Criteria based on the logic of price action which price always moves the way ' contraction-expansion-contraction', also known as 'stage1 & stage2' exchange. Stage1 means that price is squeezed back and forth before/after expansion. Stage2 means impulse or expansion to a certain direction. Both "late stage1" and "early stage2" are the best opportunity for entry. Oppositely both "early stage1" and "late stage2" are the best chance for Take profits.
Key Features:
1. Key Bar: that means price in stage2 which is expanding right now, we would better avoid enter market at the moment till price contracting.
2. Blue dashes/dots: The SL point also means price is in stage1 which is back and forth in a narrow range, price is squeezed/contracted before next expansion/mark up. This is the best chance to enter market.
3. Yellow dashes/dos: The recommended entry point, you can also use blue bashes/dots for instead. Because of slippage and spread in different assets, fine tuning parameters is better option. But the default value 1 is suit for most of assets.
How it works :
What the Key Bar is: For any given candle, if its body crossover prior candle’s high meanwhile its high reaches the ATR of POC (point of control) of prior candle. That means this candle is more powerful and directional than normal bullish candle. vice versa.
The Bullish Key Bar updated strong new high, so we marked that new high with yellow dashes and meanwhile marked the ATR of POC with blue dashes/dots. From the perspective of “Buy for Sell”, sellers always protect high, buyers always protect low. That is why the new high created by bullish key bar turns into the protected high for sellers. The protected high represents the SL point for sellers and entry point for buyers. Vice versa the Bearish Key Bar.
As we know, market structure is fractal, based on the same rules, the Key Bars will be found in LTF, the protected high/low with ATR of POC which created by Key Bars in LTF are marked with blue dots.
This indicator is not only entry/SL tools. You can use the key bar to verify if the current trend is likely to continue running or not.

Money Flow Profile [LuxAlgo]The Money Flow Profile is a charting tool that measures the traded volume or the money flow at all price levels on the market over a specified time period and highlights the relationship between the price of a given asset and the willingness of traders to either buy or sell it, allowing traders to reveal dominant and/or significant price levels and to analyze the trading activity of a particular user-selected range.
This tool combines a volume/money flow profile, a sentiment profile, and price levels, where the right side of the profile highlights the distribution of the traded activity/money flow at different price levels, the left side of the profile highlights the market sentiment at those price levels, and in the middle the price levels.
🔶 USAGE
A volume/money flow profile is an advanced charting tool that displays the traded volume/money flow at different price levels over a specific period. It helps traders visualize where the majority of trading activity/money flow has occurred.
A sentiment profile is a difference between buy and sell volume/money flow aiming to highlight the sentiment/dominance at specific price levels.
Each row of the profile presents figures on volume and money flow specific to price levels.
High volume/money flow nodes indicate areas of high activity and are likely to act as support or resistance in the future. They attract price and try to hold it there. Conversely, low-volume nodes are areas with low trading activity, that are less subject to get revisited by the price. The market often bounces right over these levels, not staying for long. The "Profile Heatmap" option of the script helps to better emphasize the trading activity within each areas.
By measuring the traded activity at each price level the script presents an ability to highlight the consolidation zones, in other words, highlights accumulation and distribution zones. When the price moves toward one end of the consolidation and volume pick up, it can foreshadow a potential breakout.
Level of Significance, Point of Control, Highest Sentiment Zone, and Profile Price levels are some of the other profile-related options available with the script.

The script takes into account user-defined parameters and plots the profiles, where detailed usage for each user-defined input parameter in indicator settings is provided with the related input's tooltip.

• Value Area Points
VAH/VAL/POC are important volume profile points which display where the market has previously held value.
We use these specific levels as support and resistance to confirm direction by monitoring interactions between price and these important levels.
The VAH and VAL lines change colors based on price's interaction with them to confirm whether that level should be regarded as support or resistance.
• VWAP Cloud
VWAP is a common metric used to determine the strength of a trend, and provides a point to look for re-bid & re-offer.
When price breaks out of our Fixed Value zone, VWAP helps us determine further direction.
Also included is VWAP deviation bands, for traders who would prefer to view the standard deviation away from this cloud as well.
• Value Reversal Zones
These Zones are calculated based on extensions of the Period Value Zone.
While in a balanced market, these zones have been shown to provide potential reversal opportunities.
• Potential Reversal Signals
These signals are based on an advanced method for confirming a higher-low or lower-high to reasonably create a signal that is not very laggy but also rooted in sound logic.
While helpful, These are NOT buy or sell signals, and you should always use further analysis to decide the next steps to take.
When a signal appears, an associated invalidation level is also displayed, if this level is crossed the associated signal is no longer considered relevant.
• Key Market Times
These are important times within the day that normally produce volatility caused by daily market catalysts.
Each key time is forward plotted 1 hour before it occurs to provide a clear heads up for potential opportunity.
Opening Fuel: Known for having an increase in Volume after the formation of the 15min Opening Range.
1st Reversal: Common Area for seeing initial large positioning effecting the market, often causing reversals.
Initial Balance Close: End of the first hour, a common positioning tool for futures traders.
2nd Reversal: Positioning is typically reactionary to IB Close, alongside Euro Traders Exiting Positions.
Euro Close: Close of Europe Session, a common positioning tool for futures traders.
Lunch: Usually Low Volume, traders are often out to lunch.
Lunch End: Volume tends to re-enter, as traders come back from lunch.
1st Reversal: New Hour, common area to see large position re-enter the market.
Bonds Close: Bonds markets close, Equities reacting to close of the bond market.
1st MOC: Initial Market on Close orders are places, market reaction is normally expected off of MOC positioning.
MOC Close: As MOC orders are reported, volatility is likely found within the market.
> Methodology
This indicator can be used with the same principles as trading balanced volume profiles.
Rule 1: Unless the price breaks and holds Value High or Value Low, we should expect buyers and sellers to maintain the current balance.
Rule 2: If we break and push away from the Period Value High, we should treat that level as supportive on retest unless we look back below and sellers defend on retest.
Rule 3: If we break and push away from the Period Value Low, we should treat that level as resistance on retest unless we look back above and buyers defend on retest.
Rule 4: If we recover Value Low, and it becomes supportive, we look for our Period POC and Period Value High as our targets above.
Rule 5: If we fail to hold Period Value High, and it becomes resistance, we look for our Period POC and Period Value Low as targets below.
Balance in the context of this indicator is considered as the area between Period Value High and Period Value Low
Acceptance outside of balance in the context of this indicator is considered as Period Value Low or High, becoming supportive or resistance.

In the bullish example below, price holds VWAP and makes POC supportive, showing interest from buyers pushing to Value High.

Inflow / Outflow (accumulation and distribution) Ribbon
In trading we know liquidity means volume and volume is orders. This ribbon shows you when orders are entering, exiting, filling or flat in the market.
The Liquidity Ribbon is a visual representation of whats happening with accumulation and distribution in the market.
It acts as a dynamic area of support and resistance for the RSI (momentum).
Once the RSI breaks above or below the full area of the ribbon, you have an overturned short term market.
Breaking this area isn't easy because of the one sided thick line known as the PoC line or Point of Control Line.
This line changes between a rising and falling color to tell you what side of the market has the most resistance or support.
Custom HA candles
The common way for HA candles to be colors is green for bullish and red for bearish.
These candles color differently according to market dynamics vs how the current candle closes.
This is helpful to keep you from taking longs or shorts when the momentum just doesn't have the move.
How it all works together: Taking entries and failed breakouts.

Short Entry:
HA Candles push down through the ribbon breaking below its low side (Support Ribbon Broken)
Following this the RSI RANGE is broken to the down side.
This is a good setup for a short breakout
Retrace to false breakout:
After this price retraces and so does momentum.
HA Candles attempt to but fail to break through the top of the ribbon and push back down . This is a false breakout.
Bullish Divergence to Long Entry:
The Heiken Ashi Algo forms a bullish divergence and HA candles push back up into the ribbon. Without a change in candle structure the RSI breaks the top of the ribbon where the control line sits as well as breaking through the top of the RANGE area and
This is a promising setup for a long trade.
Rally Base Rally: (into secondary long trade)
As price is rising, it retraces until HA candles are within the RANGE. No candle closes or has a low below the RSI midline.
HA Candles are forming a consolidation. After consolidation the RSI breaks out the top of the ribbon and the top of the RANGE allowing a secondary long entry.

Filtered Volume Profile [ChartPrime]The "Filtered Volume Profile" is a powerful tool that offers insights into market activity. It's a technical analysis tool used to understand the behavior of financial markets. It uses a fixed range volume profile to provide a histogram representing how much volume occurred at distinct price levels.

How to Use
The script is designed to analyze cumulative trading volumes in different price bins over a certain period, also known as `'lookback'`. This lookback period can be defined by the user and it represents the number of bars to look back for calculating levels of support and resistance.
The `'Smoothing'` input determines the degree to which the output is smoothed. Higher values lead to smoother results but may impede the responsiveness of the indicator to rapid changes in volatility.
The `'Peak Sensitivity'` input is used to adjust the sensitivity of the script's peak detection algorithm. Setting this to a lower value makes the algorithm more sensitive to local changes in trading volume and may result in "noisier" outputs.
The `'Peak Threshold'` input specifies the number of bins that the peak detection mechanism should account for. Larger numbers imply that more volume bins are taken into account, and the resultant peaks are based on wider intervals.
The `'Mean Score Length'` input is used for scaling the mean score range. This is particularly important in defining the length of lookback bars that will be used to calculate the average close price.
Sinc Filter
The application of the sinc-filter to the Filtered Volume Profile reduces the risk of viewing artefacts that may misrepresent the underlying market behavior. Sinc filtering is a high-quality and sharp filter that doesn't manifest any ringing effects, making it an optimal choice for such volume profiling.
Histogram
On the histogram, the volume profile is colored based on the balance of bullish to bearish volume. If a particular bar is more intense in color, it represents a larger than usual volume during a single price bar. This is a clear signal of a strong buying or selling pressure at a particular price level.
Threshold for Peaks
The `peak_thresh` input determines the number of bins the algorithm takes in account for the peak detection feature. The 'peak' represents the level where a significant amount of volume trading has occurred, and usually is of interest as an indicative of support or resistance level.
By increasing the `peak_thresh`, you're raising the bar for what the algorithm perceives as a peak. This could result in fewer, but more significant peaks being identified.
History of Volume Profiles and Evolution into Sinc Filtering
Volume profiling has a rich history in market analysis, dating back to the 1950s when Richard D. Wyckoff, a legendary trader, introduced the concept of volume studies. He understood the critical significance of volume and its relationship with market price movement. The core of Wyckoff's technical analysis suite was the relationship between prices and volume, often termed as "Effort vs Results".
Moving forward, in the early 1800s, the esteemed mathematician J. R. Carson made key improvements to the sinc function, which formed the basis for sinc filtering application in time series data. Following these contributions, trading studies continued to create and integrate more advanced statistical measures into market analysis.
This culminated in the 1980s with J. Peter Steidlmayer’s introduction of Market Profile. He suggested that markets were a function of continuous two-way auction processes thus introducing the concept of viewing markets in price/time continuum and price distribution forms. Steidlmayer's Market Profile was the first wide-scale operation of organized volume and price data.
However, despite the introduction of such features, challenges in the analysis persisted, especially due to noise that could misinform trading decisions. This gap has given rise to the need for smoothing functions to help eliminate the noise and better interpret the data. Among such techniques, the sinc filter has become widely recognized within the trading community.
The sinc filter, because of its properties of constructing a smooth passing through all data points precisely and its ability to eliminate high-frequency noise, has been considered a natural transition in the evolution of volume profile strategies. The superior ability of the sinc filter to reduce noise and shield against over-fitting makes it an ideal choice for smoothing purposes in trading scripts, particularly where volume profiling forms the crux of the market analysis strategy, such as in Filtered Volume Profile.
Moving ahead, the use of volume-based studies seems likely to remain a core part of technical analysis. As long as markets operate based on supply and demand principles, understanding volume will remain key to discerning the intent behind price movements. And with the incorporation of advanced methods like sinc filtering, the accuracy and insight provided by these methodologies will only improve.
Mean Score
The mean score in the Filtered Volume Profile script plays an important role in probabilistic inferences regarding future price direction. This score essentially characterizes the statistical likelihood of price trends based on historical data.
The mean score is calculated over a configurable `'Mean Score Length'`. This variable sets the window or the timeframe for calculation of the mean score of the closing prices.
Statistically, this score takes advantage of the concept of z-scores and probabilities associated with the t-distribution (a type of probability distribution that is symmetric and bell-shaped, just like the standard normal distribution, but has heavier tails).
The z-score represents how many standard deviations an element is from the mean. In this case, the "element" is the price level (Point of Control).
The mean score section of the script calculates standard errors for the root mean squared error (RMSE) and addresses the uncertainty in the prediction of the future value of a random variable.
The RMSE of a model prediction concerning observed values is used to measure the differences between values predicted by a model and the values observed.

The Volume Profile is a histogram that shows the estimated trading volume at certain price levels, how much was sold and how much was bought of the asset. The longer the histogram, the greater the trading volume at that price level. The Delta estimates which side was dominant at that price level and by how much.
To make the most out of the indicator, you can look for
pullbacks to high volume nodes or value areas,
initial equilibrium pullbacks,
buy or sell opportunities for price reversals,
institutional order flow.
The largest histogram node is called the Point of Control (POC). It is the estimated real market price of a coin. There's a common belief that when the price is above this point, the market sentiment is bullish, and when it's below, the sentiment turns bearish. It can act as a strong support if the price is above it and as strong resistance if the price is below it.
Price action usually finds the most support and resistance and the edge of the high volume areas. The indicator can mark these as VAH and VAL (Value Area High and Low).
In addition to the indication of support and resistance zones, the volume profile can also be used to infer the speed of price movements. At levels where there is little trading volume, faster and more volatile price movements are expected. In such scenarios the price may fall or rise faster to the next high volume zone.

The volume profile represents the distribution of trading volume at different price levels over a specified period and is displayed as a circle on the chart.

BACKSTORY:
Occasionally I find myself in situations where I have to build analyzers in Pine to actually build novel quantitative analytic indicators and tools worthy of future use. These analyzers certainly don't exist on this platform, but usually are required to engineer and tweak algorithms of the highest quality with the finest computational caliber. I have numerous other synthesizers to publish besides this one.
For many reasons, I needed a synthetic environment to utilize the analyzers I built in Pine, to even pursue building some exotic indicators and algorithms. Pine doesn't allow sourcing of tuples. Not to mention, I required numerous Pine advancements to make long held dreams into tangible realities. Many Pine upgrades have arrived and MANY, MANY more are in need of implementation for all. Now that I have this, intending to use it in the future often when in need, you can now use it too. I do anticipate some skilled Pine poets will employ this intended handy utility to design and/or improved indicators for trading.
ORIGIN:
This was inspired by the brilliance from the world renowned ALGOmist John F. Ehlers, but it's taken on a completely alien form from its original DNA. Browsing on the internet for something else, I came across an article with a small code snippet, and I remembered an old wish of mine. I have long known that by flipping back and forth on specific tickers and timeframes in my Watchlist is not the most efficient way to evaluate indicators in multiple theatres of price action. I realized, I always wanted to possess and use this sort of tool, so... I put it into Pine form, but now have decided to inject it with Pine Script steroids. The outcome is highly mutable candle formations in a reusable mutagenic package, observable above and masquerading as genuine looking price candles.
OVERVIEW:
I guess you could call it a price action synthesizer, but I entitled it "Synthetic Price Action Generator" for those who may be searching for such a thing. You may find this more useful on the All or 5Y charts initially to witness indication from beginning (barstate.isfirst === barindex==0) to end (last_bar_index), but you may also use keyboard shortcuts + + to view the earliest plottable bars on any timeframe. I often use that keyboard shortcut to qualify an indicator through the entirety of it's runtime.
A lot can go wrong unexpectedly with indicator initialization, and you will never know it if you don't inspect it. Many recursively endowed Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) Filters can initialize with unintended results that minutely ring in slightly erroneous fashion for the entire runtime, beginning to end, causing deviations from "what should of been..." values with false signals. Looking closely at spg(), you will recognize that 3 EMAs are employed to manage and maintain randomness of CLOSE, HIGH, and LOW. In fact, any indicator's barindex==0 initialization can be inspected with the keyboard shortcuts above. If you see anything obviously strange in an authors indicator, please contact the developer if possible and respectfully notify them.
PURPOSE:
The primary intended application of this script, is to offer developers from advanced to even novice skill levels assistance with building next generation indicators. Mostly, it's purpose is for testing and troubleshooting indicators AND evaluating how they perform in a "manageable" randomized environment. Some times indicators flake out on rare but problematic price fluctuations, and this may help you with finding your issues/errata sooner than later. While the candles upon initial loading look pristine, by tweaking it to the minval/maxval parameters limits OR beyond with a few code modifications, you can generate unusual volatility, for instance... huge wicks. Limits of minval= and maxval= of are by default set to a comfort zone of operation. Massive wicks or candle bodies will undoubtedly affect your indication and often render them useless on tickers that exhibit that behavior, like WGMCF intraday currently.
Copy/paste boundaries are provided for relevant insertion into another script. Paste placement should happen at the very top of a script. Note that by overwriting the close, open, high, etc... values, your compiler will give you generous warnings of "variable shadowing" in abundance, but this is an expected part of applying it to your novel script, no worries. plotcandle() can be copied over too and enabled/disabled in Settings->Style. Always remember to fully remove this scripts' code and those assignments properly before actual trading use of your script occurs, AND specifically when publishing. The entirety of this provided code should never, never exist in a published indicator.
OTHER INTENTIONS:
Even though these are 100% synthetic generated price points, you will notice ALL of the fractal pseudo-patterns that commonly exist in the markets, are naturally occurring with this generator too. You can also swiftly immerse yourself in pattern recognition exercises with increased efficiency in real time by clicking any SPAG Setting in focus and then using the up/down arrow keys. I hope I explained potential uses adequately...
On a personal note, the existence of fractal symmetry often makes me wonder, do we truly live in a totality chaotic universe or is it ordered mathematically for some outcomes to a certain extent. I think both. My observations, it's a pre-deterministic reality completely influenced by infinitesimal amounts of sentient free will with unimaginable existing and emerging quantities. Some how an unknown mysterious mechanism governing the totality of universal physics and mathematics counts this 100.0% flawlessly and perpetually. Anyways, you can't change the past that long existed before your birth or even yesterday, but you can choose to dream, create, and forge the future into your desires and hopes. Why Fibonacci? (The Structure) Fibonacci Retracements map the mathematical structure of a trend. They identify psychological and algorithmic "interest zones" (0.382, 0.5, 0.618) where a correction is statistically likely to terminate. However, Fibonacci levels are theoretical—they are "lines in the sand" that do not guarantee liquidity or reaction.
Why Volume Profile? (The Verification) Volume Profile maps the historical exchange of shares at specific price levels. It reveals "fair value" (High Volume Nodes) and "market imbalance" (Low Volume Nodes). It is the only tool that verifies if a specific price level was actually accepted by institutional participants.
2. Underlying Calculations (The Custom Engine) This script operates on a custom-built calculation engine that bypasses standard built-in functions entirely. It uses Pine Script Arrays to build a Volume Profile from scratch. Here is the breakdown of the proprietary code logic:
A. The "Smart-Fill" Distribution Algorithm (Solves Gapping)
The Problem: Standard volume scripts often assign a candle's entire volume to a single price row. In volatile markets or steep trends, this creates visual "gaps" or a "barcode" effect because price moved too fast to register on every row.
My Solution: I wrote a custom loop that calculates the vertical overlap of every candle against the profile grid.
The Math: Volume Per Bin = Total Candle Volume / Bins Touched.
The Result: If a single volatile candle spans 10 price rows (bins), the script mathematically divides that volume and distributes it equally into all 10 array indices. This generates a solid, continuous distribution curve that accurately reflects price action through the entire candle range, not just the close.
B. Dynamic Arrays & Split-Volume Logic The script initializes two separate floating-point arrays (buyVolArray and sellVolArray) sized to the user's resolution (up to 300 rows). It iterates through the specific time-window of the swing:
If Close >= Open, the calculated volume slice is injected into the Buy Array.
If Close < Open, it is injected into the Sell Array.
These arrays are then visually stacked to render the dual-color profile, allowing traders to see the "Delta" (Buyer vs. Seller aggression) at key structural levels.
C. Custom Garbage Collection (Performance) To enable the "Auto-Anchoring" feature without causing chart lag or visual artifacts ("ghosting"), the script includes a Garbage Collection System. Before drawing a new profile, the script iterates through a tracking array of all existing objects (box.delete, line.delete) and clears them from memory. Red Zone (Premium): Prices above the Value Area High (VAH). Statistically "expensive."

How to Use
For Intraday (Day Trading):
Settings: Set Lookback to 100 - 300.
Strategy: Watch for price to open outside the Value Area. If price breaks back inside the Value Area, target the POC (Red Line).
For Macro (Monthly/Weekly Charts):
Settings: Set Lookback to 12 (1 Year) or 60 (5 Years).
Strategy: Identify multi-year structural support. When a monthly candle enters the Green Discount Zone of a 5-year profile, it is often a high-probability institutional entry point.
Trend Logic
The Dashboard indicates trend based on price location relative to value:
Strong Bullish: Price is accepted ABOVE the Value Area.
Strong Bearish: Price is accepted BELOW the Value Area.
Neutral / In VA: Price is chopping inside the Value Area.
